Online DVD Movie Rentals

I went on Netflix web page and saw their free trial is two weeks. However I remember getting coupons in the mail that had a special deal with a promo code and everything. At the time I was not interested, but now I am. Do they ever give you a full month free trial, and that is what the promo is for? Or were those coupons also 2 weeks and it is just a come-on with no special deal then what they always offer.
